The SA23002A high efficiency 2.35MHz synchronous buck converter operates over an input voltage range of 2.8V to 5.5V and can deliver an output current up to 2A. It uses built-in power MOSFETs to supply a resistor-configurable output voltage between 0.6V and VIN. The 2.35MHz constant switching frequency reduces the required external inductor and capacitors size.
The SA23002A offers excellent efficiency over a wide range of applications by providing internal 83mΩ power and 43mΩ synchronous rectifier MOSFETs and frequency reduction under light load conditions. The 1μA shutdown supply current allows the device to be used in low power applications. The SA23002A ensures safe operation in all operating conditions, providing cycle-by-cycle current limit, input undervoltage lockout, internal soft-start, output undervoltage protection and thermal shutdown.
The SA23002A is available in a DFN1.4×1.8-6 package.
