The SA24493 is a high-efficiency synchronous step-down DC-DC converter capable of delivering a load current of 3A. It operates over a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 36V and integrates main and synchronous MOSFET switches with very low RDS(ON) to minimize conduction loss. 

The SA24493 uses a peak current control architecture. The switching frequency is adjustable from 300kHz to 2.2MHz using an external resistor. The device also features ultra-low quiescent current to achieve high efficiency under light load conditions. Additionally, the internal soft-start function limits inrush current during power-up. 

The SA24493 is available in a QFN2×2-12 Package.
