The SY205209ABC is a quad, low capacitance transient voltage suppressor (TVS) designed to provide electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection for high-speed data interfaces. With typical capacitance of 1.2pF, the SY205209ABC is designed to protect against over-voltage and over-current transient events. It complies with IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD) (±30kV air, ±30kV contact discharge), IEC 61000-4-5 (surge) (7.5A, 8/20μs).
The low capacitance, small size and high ESD robustness makes SY205209ABC ideal for high-speed lines used in high-frequency interface applications (e.g., VGA & DVI). The low clamping voltage of the SY205209ABC guarantees minimum stress on the protected IC.
Each SY205209ABC device can protect four high-speed data lines. The SY205209ABC is available in a compact SOT23-6 package.
