SY205253SMD is a dual channel, ultra-low capacitance transient voltage suppressor (TVS) designed to provide electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection for high-speed data interfaces. With a typical capacitance of 0.42pF, SY205253SMD is designed to protect against over-voltage and over-current transient events. It complies with IEC61000-4-2 (ESD) (±28kV air, ±19kV contact discharge), IEC61000-4-5 (surge) (7A, 8/20μs).
The combined features of ultra-low capacitance, small size, and high ESD robustness make SY205253SMD ideal for high-speed data ports and high-frequency lines applications. The low clamping voltage of the SY205253SMD guarantees minimum stress on the protected IC.
Each SY205253SMD device can protect two high-speed data lines. The SY205253SMD is available in a compact DFN1.0×0.6-3 package.
