The SY21164 is a high efficiency 500kHz/ 750kHz/ 1MHz/1.25MHz selectable switching frequency, synchronous step down DC/DC regulator capable of delivering 12A continuous and 15A peak (duration<100μs) output current.

The SY21164 operates over a wide input voltage range from 2.85V to 18V and integrates main switch and synchronous switch with very low R_{DS (ON)} to minimize the conduction loss. The reference voltage range can be adjusted from 0.6V to 1.108V in 4mV steps. The voltage slew rate, frequency, current limit, hiccup/latch-off protection, enables, and power-saving modes are also selectable through the I2C interface.

The SY21164 is available in compact QFN3×4-14 package.
