The SY2A29303 is a non-synchronous Boost/ Flyback/Sepic controller with built-in protection features. The controller drives an external N-channel MOSFET. The device uses peak current mode control with internal slope compensation. The IC incorporates an internal regulator that supplies charge to the gate driver.
The device is suited for use in the harsh automotive environments and provides protection functions such as cycle-by-cycle current limit and thermal shutdown.
